Harper, Anne
Anne Lenore (nee Bartholow) Harper of Olds, Alberta passed away at the Olds Hospital Continuing Care facility on Sunday, July 11, 2010, at the age of 85 years. Anne Bartholow was born in Buffalo, Alberta on March 30, 1925 and moved to the Olds/Sundre area in the mid-1940’s and was married to Donald C. Harper on July 26, 1946. Anne worked for many years as a cook/dietitian in the kitchen of the Olds General Hospital.
She is survived by her children, Colleen (Don) Trenerry of Calgary, Stuart Harper of Millet and Bill (Cindy) of Olds. She is also survived by her grandchildren Kathryn (Stuart) Harker of Calgary, Jodie (Brian) Buchsdruecker of Calgary, Chris (Jennifer) Trenerry of Brooks, Rebecca (Chris) Dolezal of Lacombe, David Harper of Olds, Graham Harper of Olds and seven great grandchildren (Georgia, Charlie, Faith, Ben, Jack, Beckett & Lochland). In addition she is survived by four sisters-in-law (Lettie Harper, Alma Harper, Isobell Bartholow and Betty Bartholow) as well as numerous nieces, nephews and family friends.
Anne was predeceased by her husband Donald (2004) and daughter-in-law Janyce Harper (2007) as well as Anne’s parents (Lester & Anna Belle Bartholow), her brothers (James, Bob, Bill, Lawrence, Chester) and her sisters (Minnie, Rose).
Memorial Service in memory of Anne will be held at 1:30 P.M. on Thursday, July 29, 2010 at the Olds Church Of The Nazarene 5402 43 Street Olds, Alberta.
