Doug Damsgaard of Rimbey passed away on Sunday, July 18, 2010 at the age of 61 years. Doug is survived by his two daughters Norma Damsgaard and Terry Damsgaard along with their mother Leona. Also left to mourn Doug’s passing are his two grandchildren Thomas Stewart and Kayla Stewart. Doug is further survived by his five siblings; Betty (John), Ron (Debbie), Laura, Colleen (Kim), Kathy (Willie) along with numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. Doug was predeceased by his parents Aksel and Gert, his niece Nicole and his son-in-law Dave. If friends so desire memorial tributes in memory of Doug can be directed to The Royal Canadian Legion Branch #36, P.O. Box 508 Rimbey, Alberta T0C 2J0. Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. at The Royal Canadian Legion Branch #36 5019 50 Street, Rimbey, Alberta.
